Safety Protocols
Derna Contracting considers the safety and well being of our employees, subcontractors and customers our number one priority. All personnel, from our field staff to our leadership team, share the same responsibility for creating a safe work environment. Site Specific Health and Safety Plans (SSHASPs) are prepared for all field service projects, as well as Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents for each specific task to be performed. An internal pre-mobilization meeting is held prior to each job to ensure that all parties involved are aware of the scope of work, risks and hazards associated with each project.
In addition, Derna Contracting conducts daily site safety meetings before work begins to review site-specific hazards, task hazards, and the daily scope of work. In light of the recent pandemic, Derna Contracting maintains a written COVID 19 health and safety addendum to ensure strict adherence to current recommended safety guidelines.
While we realize that our security insights are the measurements by which we are judged, we comprehend that the well being society of our organization and the practices and safe work practices of our representatives are to be the genuine focal point of accentuation. In so far as we center our endeavors in the right regions and are aware of developing positive and proactive practices, great outcomes will follow, and our representatives will return home every day similarly as they came to work, sans injury.
